We're so excited to announce our theme and logo for this school year: "Growing in Virtues...Rooted in Faith."

This year, we will be focusing on developing into better people with strong values and spiritual beliefs to guide and support us. We'll work hard to stay strong, make good decisions, and be a positive influence in the world, even when things are challenging. With God, all things are possible.

It was sad to say goodbye to Mrs. Emily Jordan and Mrs. Jodi Weigelt at the end of last year; they each decided to retire after approximately 40 years of teaching! 

We are so blessed to have Karen Unruh joining us as our Title 1 Reading and Math Interventionist this year! I was fortunate to work with Karen at Silverbrook; I am confident she will be the perfect fit for our school. She will spend time reviewing data and evaluating students at the start of the year to determine who will receive services. Please welcome her!

Open house is for all students and families on Sunday, August 25th, from 10:30am-12:30pm. Most school families attend 9:30 Mass that morning where Father Howard will give a special blessing for our students and staff. 

After Mass, families walk to their cars, grab all their supplies and paperwork, and meet outside the office door, where Mrs. Spaeth will say a prayer. 

After prayer, families and students drop off supplies in their classroom, meet their teachers, and visit with friends. Bring your phone to take pictures!!

The Family Handbook will be posted on the website at haswb.org before school starts. Please read the handbook, sign the form, and return it with beginning of the year paperwork.

Middle school students are required to purchase a chromebook as part of their regular school supplies. Please see the link below for information on specifications and an opportunity to receive a subsidy.

We are so excited to welcome all our new families to Holy Angels School! There will be a welcome meeting for all new students and parents on August 19th at 7pm in the computer lab. Please plan to attend to receive important information. Kiki Miofsky, a veteran Holy Angels parent, will be contacting you in the near future regarding the opportunity to have a mentor family as well.

We’re excited to announce our new fundraising event: A Royal Night of Giving, taking place on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at Foundry 45 in Kewaskum. This 21+ event will feature heavy appetizers, games, raffles, silent and live auctions, and live music featuring Mrs. Scheit, our music teacher, and her band, Vinyl Road!  While we have loved our Gifts from the Heart event, we are excited to try something new.

Our Royal Night of Giving website is coming soon via OneCause for ticket purchases, donations, and auction previews. 

Meanwhile, check our school website and social media for updates and the QR code. You can also submit a completed ticket/table order form with payment to the school office in an envelope marked “Royal Night of Giving” attn: Jamie Reinheimer. Forms will be available at the back of church starting August 26th.  

If you are interested in donating or becoming a sponsor for this event, please email us at royalnight@haswb.org. Funds raised will support technology and security upgrades at the school, though all donations will be considered unrestricted and may be used for other Holy Angels priorities. We hope to see you there!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame! On Tuesday, August 27th, take a bus to the Brewers game vs. the San Francisco Giants!  Cost is $50 which includes tailgate at HA starting at 4:00 pm, food provided but bring your own adult beverages, bus to and from the game, and a ticket in infield 200s section.  Game start is 7:10 pm. The registration form can be found in last week's bulletin (can also be found on the parish website).  Please put your completed registration form in the collection basket at Mass, mail it in, or contact Lauren 262-334-9393, ducharmel@hawb.org.  Tickets are limited, and registration will close once all tickets are sold, or on Sunday, August 18th.  Cash and check accepted, made out to Holy Angels Parish with Brewer Game on the memo line.

Just a reminder that Aug 21 at 6pm at the Tap Yard is our final Summer Meetup hosted by PAC (Parent Activities Committee). Please bring your family and friends to Ackerman's Grove Park at 6pm. Can't wait to see you all there!

Thank you so much to all the volunteers, sponsors, raffle donors, and golfers who made this year’s outing a huge success! We had beautiful weather, amazing food and raffle prizes, and enjoyed fellowship, all in support of our school. Special thanks to Tom and Erica Becker and Robert and Kristine Glisch, who coordinated the event.

Our Catholic faith is the foundation for everything we do at Holy Angels School. It's important that our students experience worship not only at school, but also with their family. If you don't already have a parish, please consider joining Holy Angels Catholic Church. Children love seeing their teachers, friends, and principal at Mass on the weekends. All are welcome!
